Music by our beloved horn player, Matt Marks, who passed away suddenly in May following a performance, as well as the world premiere of a new piece by Michael Harrison. Matt’s theatrical work, Strangers in Many Ways, was created for AWS, the LA Philharmonic, and the Brooklyn Philharmonic, and was left unfinished at his death. We’ll be playing the portions Matt completed, which offer three snapshots of an American family.
