Steve Reich's multi-media opera from 1993, with libretto by his wife, Beryl Kortot. "The Cave" refers to the Cave of the Patriarchs in Hebron, where Abraham and Sarah are supposedly buried -- a place sacred to Jews, Muslims, and Christians. I've got a singing and keyboards role in this one; no bassoon.
